Now it is time to connect USB devices ...	... and parallel port, too.	As I have two screens, I connect both, and also LAN and ISDN wires.	After reviewing that all cables are well connected, I start the PC for the first time ... emotion ...
It works at first attempt ...	... pressing DEL the BIOS configuration screen appears.	Emphasizing CHIPSET FEATURES SETUP and pressing enter ...	... I verify (right column) that all supply voltages are correct, the CPU fan works and temperatures are also correct.
Now, if installing Windows 98, press ESCAPE, emphasize BIOS FEATURES SETUP and press ENTER ...	... Emphasize Boot Sequence and with AvPág select CDROM,C,A so that the PC starts from the CDROM (it is also necessary to remove the antivirus protection, and replace when finished the OS installation).	Press ESCAPE, amphasize SAVE & EXIT SETUP, press ENTER, and the PC starts again.	I check that the PC "sees" all the devices... and begin the OS installation. ĄTo enjoy!

As you have seen, there were several used devices in this assembly, and other that by the date January 2001 would not be interesting to buy.
If I had to acquire everything new now (Jan-2001), the processor would be a PENTIUM III 800 or a K7 of similar speed, the PC would equip 256 MB RAM, and the hard disk would be at least 20 GB and 7.200 rpm. The ATX tower that I have used is advisable if one has room at home, and also the mobile rack for the hard disk, to ease further changes and manipulation: then the free 5 1/4" bays will be very welcome.
